Hello Guys, i am going to tell you all how to install cyanogenMod or any other custom rom in your galaxy tab 2 GT-P3xxx.
There's a difference in installing CyanogenMod instead of other ROM as you have no .pda file in the .zip you downloaded for tab 2.
Here i am only discussing how to install zip file.
before proceeding, few things to cover up, charge you battery to 60 or 70 or more percent
In case after installing the CyanognMod, you would want to revert you tab to its last position, it's safe to make a back up. This is a different kind of backup. it's easy. how to do it? click here.
okay,
1) You should have clockwork mod install on your device. Do you have it? yes? then okay, we'll continue to step 2. other wise, Click here to know how to install.
2) Now, download any version of CyanogenMod you want to install. you can download from CyanogenMod's website. AND COPY THAT .zip FILE IN YOUR EXTERNAL SD CARD OR YOUR TAB.
3)Turn off your Tab 2.
4) Now, Press the power on and the volume up button at the same time.
5) The following screen will come up and then it will go blank for some time! Dont Panic. just wait
6) Then the following screen will come up.
7) Click on Wipe Data/ Factory Reset. THIS STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT. You can navigate using volume keys while select using power button.
8) After going in the Wipe Data/Factory Reset option, click on the option to wipe DATA.
9) After that, Restart the tab again using the same combination of power button and volume up key. You'll enter the clockwork mod as in 6) again.
10) Now last and final step. Select the install zip from sd card if you have copied the .zip file in your TAB or install .zip from the sideload if you copied the file in external sd card.
a) This is applicable only if you copied the file in you sd card. After selecting the "Install zip from sdcard", navigate and find the .zip file you copied, select it and then WAIT.
b)This is applicable only for those people who copied in external sd card. After selecting the "Install zip from sideload", select the install from external sd card option and then find and select the .zip file you copied. The Wait.
11) After Sometime,
this Screen will come on your tab!
Everything is done now.
